I work in Washington, DC under contract at the DOT's Bureau of Transportation Statistics via the MBE firm MacroSys. My railroad safety office is devoted to confidentially interviewing railroad employees, in order to advise railroads on heightening the safety of their operations. I received dual B.S. degrees in Finance and Accounting from 16th Nationally Ranked Robert H. Smith School of Business.
As a task, I am experienced in and enjoy interviewing and analysis in order to document systems with flowcharts, as business systems and processes intrigue me. After receiving a Certification of Public Accountancy (CPA) to which I am studying for, a Certification of Fraud Examination (CFE) is prospective for me as I believe that fraud is one of the biggest, yet most manageable, weights on the development of our society. Any company with a strong moral culture set by the "tone at the top" is still a delicate balance that can be toppled without the prevention or quick removal of fraud or other immoral practices. In my free time, I enjoy reading about social psychology and business systems. If there were a few books I'd recommend to everyone they would be Irrationality by Stuart Sutherland, The World as I See It by Albert Einstein, and Mistakes Were Made but not by Me by Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson.
